Angels & Wings

Today we´ve been on the hunt for angelic stuff, and what better design to start with than this one called "Angelic". We liked the surrealistic wing-style graphic, you´ll find lot´s more in the shop at Amaze Me Graphics

Of course there´s always the other side ... Here´s a dark angel with a pentacle design, for the gothic art lovers. Found in the Dark Shirts gallery. That´s the place to look for unique dark designs on lots more than t-shirts!

Now here´s wishing you all a great New Year´s Eve party - and we´ll hopefully meet again in 2009!

Goth as Fashion!

Some people class a t-shirt design as "gothic" as long as it shows a skull - we have been on the search for some gothic designs that are a bit out of the ordinary and can be classed as artistic.

One of our favourite galleries is Myka Jelina Gothic Fantasy & Fairy Art Merchandise The goth fairies are amazing. You can buy them not just on t-shirts, but lots of other cool products as well. The artwork is truly unique and in true goth style, and the girls are something else!

Another shop we found was Neil F. Smith Designs - and wow, his dark grunge style collages are something else! There´s dozens of cool designs that will appeal not just to the hard core goth, but to all that like unusual, artistic and unique artwork.

Visit his gallery to browse through lots of interesting art work on t-shirts, mugs, Keds shoes and skateboards!

UK designs and stuff!

Last week-end was a great day - Zazzle opened a site in the UK, and I am finally able to buy my own stuff without hassle and a credit card. They accept PayPal there!
Of course I opened another gallery as the rest of my family are Brits. Makes sense to cater to that market, at least I don´t have to think for hours about how to spell a word ...
So here´s Mad Dogs and Englishmen

Our shop was only open a few hours and we sold this shirt - funnyly enough to a lady from Rochester that purchased over the USA adress ... I hope they tell her in the invoice and next time she knows!

The design incorporating an 18th century British Bulldog standin on a Union Jack is of course also available on the usual products like bags, buttons and magnets, mousepads, mugs and more!
All Zazzle galleries are reachable over the zazzle.co.uk adress, so all your favourites are to be found there, too!

One of our all-time favourites must be Ricaso UK´s Dirty Vintage Union Jack. He has some great designs in his shop! Not just for Brits, but specified designs for English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh inhabitant of the greatest island in the world!

I shall have to have a good look around during the next week and let you know about some more cool designs from that side of the ocean!

Decorated Initials

Sorry the last update has been some time ago - I´ve been very busy working. I promise I´ll post at least once a week from now!

Our latest venture is monograms, or decorated initials. We have our Monogram shop, where you can buy t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies with large initials or smaller pocketsize monograms. At the moment theres six alphabets to choose from, we are currently working on lots more! We have initials decorated with dragons, fairies, flowers, butterflies - and heaps of ideas for more!
Not long ago we opened our Rainbow Art Initials gallery at Zazzle, to give you the opportunity to purchase our decorated Initials not just on apparel but also on mousepads, keyrings, buttons and magnets, mugs and even Keds shoes! All products are customizable online, to give you a truly unique item. We have not all the alphabets finished yet - very time consuming work - but are hoping to have all the products up very soon!

Unique Catlovers Art

I found this design in Jamie Wogan Edwards´shop - there´s so many cool and cute designs in there you´ll just have to pop in and check it out for yourself!

Let me quote her own description of her shop and art:
"My love for art, color, children and animals inspires me. My designs are sometimes hand painted, sometimes digitally painted and sometimes a mix of both. I offer pet products such as cat and dog t-shirts, mugs, art poster prints and more. I also offer environmental awareness designs on buttons and magnets, t-shirts, etc, as well as baby and infant images and special holiday designs. There's something for everyone here. Most of all I hope you find your smile when you visit my gallery! Only then have I done my job!"

I have picked this colorful triptych for a catlover, but I had a real hard time doing so - there´s so many wonderful things in the shop!

Artistic Grunge Designs

victorian fashion grunge design
Sorry that it´s been a while - sometimes I have to devote my time to designing new t-shirts for our shops.

The newest "baby" in the shop family is Dark Shirts, devoted gothic style "dark" designs, and grunge style designs.

The shop is not officially open yet - I´m still in the process of making unique new art to fit our style - but I couldn´t resist to give you a teaser, and introduce some of our newest t-shirts. You can visit (and if you find something you can certainly buy ...), but don´t expect a huge selection yet.

Above you see an artistic grunge style design, with a Victorian lady wearing a large hat, grunge swirls, and the word "Fashion" in distressed font. Apart from the obvious grey and black we also included some pretty colors for those with a not-so-dark taste.

Eternity Skull Grunge Design

Another favourite is our "Eternity Skull" design - we took daVincis´ drawing of a human skull, added a few grunge swirls and vintage ornamentals plus the word "Eternity" in a fancy grunge font. Apart from the dusky blue seen here on a standard tee, we also have lots of other colours and of course - for the gothic geeks - black and dark greys.

Ancient Aztec Art

Ancient Aztec, Mayan and Mexican glyphs and artwork make great designs for t-shirts. And apparently they are all the rage at the moment - the statcounter on our Art Attack store tells me so anyway.

I have design several t-shirts using the historic art in unique ways.

Shown here is the Hunab Ku glyph, textured in a mix of chrome and blue steel.

According to some early-colonial sources, Hunab Ku, meaning 'Sole God', was the main deity in the Tucatec Mayan panthem
. No images existed of Hunab Ku since he was considered to be without visible form. The concept may have been invented to satisfy the Spanish monks. Hunab Ku is, in any case, closely related to the indigenous creator god, Itramna.

The "Hunab Ku" symbol was originally a rectangular symbol used by the Aztecs as a ritual cloak design, known as the Mantle of Lip Plugs (or, arguably, mantle of spider water). The symbol survives today as a rug design being sold in central Mexico, but was associated with the Milky Way and the god Hunab Ku by Arguelles, who changed the symbol to a circular motif. It has become associated with Mayanism.

Unique Fractal and 3D Art Designs

Combining fractal shapes with metallic 3D elements is the newewst design line in the Art Attack shop.

We picked this windcatcher like design to illustrate the possibilities. A wire mesh oval with a metallic floral centerpiece, decorated with colorful fractal shapes.

In the Fractal Art section you also find designs combining grungy orbs and rings with metallic jewels, flowers and other ornamental elements. The design we picked as an example is an unusually shaped ornament combining rusty rings with sunflower shapes, grungy orbs and metal mesh.

Visit the shop for more unique stuff.
